Prototype Network Design

I have set up a prototype network to serve as the foundation of the final product. I plan on making additions and configuring this network as time progresses to suite the project brief, the current networks objective is to establish addressing via the dhcp server.

Configurations
DHCP Server was configured with the gateway address  192.168.1.253 /24 with two pools of addresses for both campuses, the first pool address range 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.242 /24 and the second pool address range 192.168.2.1 - 192.168.2.241 /24. The f0/0 Interface was assigned a static address of 192.168.1.1 /24

End Device settings were changed to get the default gateway and host addresses from the DHCP Server

Switches no configurations were made to the switches

South Campus Router: interface g0/0 was given the address 192.168.1.253 /24. This is where the traffic for this network will be sent . Interface s0/0/0 was given the address 172.168.1.1 /30 the interface was set as the DCE and connected via serial with a default static route pointing to the North Campus Routers Interface s/0/0/0 172.168.1.2 /30

North Campus Router: interface g0/0 was given the address 192.168.2.253 /24. Interface s/0/0/0 was given the 172.168.1.2 /30

Cloud: No configurations have been made to the cloud

Purpose of blog

This blog will be used to document the construction of a network based the project brief provided below
